JMR is not a member but her journey through the difficulties that keratoconus can bring and how they can be overcome by emerging technologies is instructive and uplifting. She lives in the US and her keratoconus became so bad she was facing the option of having to have corneal transplants. She ended up having intacs and CXL (or C3-R - the alternative name for cross linking) and through this regained her sight.
